Why? To Make People Think

Every sale begins with hello. Whether it's meeting someone on the street or talking to suited executives in an office, every pitch begins with "Hi, my name is". A sale should begin with familiarity, especially when trying to share something from within. Anytime you buy a piece of work, you're also purchasing the time, effort, and passion that went into making the product. We want you to get to know our author.

Main Goal: Have Fun

It didn't take long for me to lose sight of my main goal, and the second I realized it I made it a point never to forget again. As soon as I got my first print copy, typos and all, I was parading it through the streets, trying to sell a product I didn't have stocked. Anytime I met someone, I'd play through a charade or dialogue only to pitch my book. It wasn't until Tom, my friend-turned manager, told me that hanging out with me was beginning to be too stressful that it all made sense. I had donned the suit and gave up my personal self. I had become a spokesperson for my product, and nothing else. It was time to get back to basics, time to follow up on Goal #1: Have Fun.

How it's been...

A blast. Whoda thunk the power of the phone and internet could do so much damange. Oh right.. But it's been swell. Phone calls galore but the deals get done, the chips get banked, and the pieces move forward. Friends and family have gone out of their way to support me. Recently being on radio, I had the pleasure of receieving an onslaught of praise and compliments from people who truly care. Makes it all worthwhile. Aside from the faint dwindling of time, everything seems to be shaping up for the best. Can't complain on my end.

that's all for now, keep thinking..
